I just wanted to send a note to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My son attended the mini tanks and laser tag party yesterday, and I can’t express how grateful I am for the experience your team gave him.
Ollie became quite overwhelmed and didn’t want to take part in the laser tag at first. He chose to watch from the side and then spent time watching the mini tank driving. From the very beginning, every member of your team was incredibly kind and gave the children so much individual attention.
Ollie and his friend Connor, who is ASD, both struggle in many situations — especially new environments with new people — but your staff were simply fantastic.
Ollie felt so at ease driving the tanks that he came off feeling confident and even ready to try laser tag. He didn’t last long as it became a bit too much for him, but again, your staff were right there, gently looking after him and bringing him back over to me.
He was absolutely blown away by the bonus ride on the tanks at the end — being a Spurs supporter isn’t all bad after all!
Ollie doesn’t get invited to many parties, and despite all his anxiety yesterday, he had a brilliant time. He talked non-stop on the way home about how nice everyone was.
There are so many places where boys like Ollie and Connor might be overlooked or dismissed, and they miss out on so much. That’s probably why I became so emotional yesterday — seeing Ollie smiling and Connor interacting with your team and giving everything a go was huge for us.
Your kindness truly meant more than I can say. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to all of your team who were there yesterday.
